Overview
The Defense SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Program is required by law and governed by the Small Business Administration Policy Directive, which requires a security-based risk review be performed on every proposal submitted to a DoD SBIR/STTR Program, to determine the security risks of small business concerns (SBCs) with ties to a foreign country of concern (FCOC). Each DoD Component that executes a SBIR/STTR Program has implemented the Defense SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Program pursuant to the DoD policy, Defense SBIR and STTR Due Diligence Program, dated 13 May 2024.
