Overview
The Defense SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Program is required by law and governed by the Small Business Administration Policy Directive, which requires a security-based risk review be performed on every proposal submitted to a DoW SBIR/STTR Program, to determine the security risks of small business concerns (SBCs) with ties to a foreign country of concern (FCOC). Each DoW Component that executes a SBIR/STTR Program has implemented the SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Program pursuant to the DoW policy, SBIR and STTR Due Diligence Program, dated 13 May 2024.
