Nov. 19, 2025 | 2:27
Part two of four in a video series showcasing Air Force Global Strike Command’s intercontinental ballistic missile modernization efforts, released Nov. 19, 2025, by Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. This four-part video series was created by the 341st, 90th and 91st Missile Wings and the 2nd Audiovisual Squadron to highlight the Airmen and Guardians who, for more than six decades, have operated, maintained and secured the Minuteman ICBM weapon system to provide the rapid-response, highly survivable element of America’s strategic deterrent. Now, the Air Force is preparing to field the LGM-35A Sentinel ICBM system to replace the aging Minuteman III to ensure the land-based leg of the Nation’s nuclear triad remains a safe, secure and effective strategic deterrent.
